Okay, some people may know this by now, but recently i've been trying day after day to get my wifi to work properly.

The reason i've been doing this is to trade pokemanz with Utriax.

BUT, for some reason my DS is failin' to connect to the wifi.

What happens is it starts off great, connecting full three bars of signal, then, suddenly, i loose all three bars and it comes up with some error thingy.

I've tried many different things, which have all failed, and i was hoping someone here had any ideas, if you need to know anything like my routers settings and stuff, just ask, but atm i cba to get that info.

I'm not sure if the problem is my router or my ds, but i'm open to all suggestions.

PLEASE help me out guys, i don't wanna keep ragin' day after day.
It's your router. If you don't have one, get a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. It's pretty cheap and software is free on Nintendo's website.

Don't think router works, never tried.
Routers do work aslong as they transmit wireless signals out.

Also i have a Nintendo Wifi USB Connector, but i think it's broken, also the software doesn't work for windows 7.

Also i did some thing where i made it run on xp jsut for the software apparently.

But then the software stops working, it asks me to plug it in while the softwares going, i do that, then it starts installing the drivers, which i think it fails to do... It seems like it does, then it starts "Setting up Internet Connection Sharing" which it does for a while, then suddenly the bar which tells me how much is done jumps to the end and it tells me to insert my Nintendo Wifi USB Connector into a USB. Which i just did earlier like it told me to....

So yeah, not sure how to solve that one.
A cheaper option instead of buying a different router is buying a(nother) wireless card for your PC, using that one as a node to transmit signals to your DS.
How does a wireless card work / will it work?

And how cheap?
Hit it on a desk.
Well, installing it in your PC is just simply putting it in a PCI slot, like a videocard, the downside is that I'm not 100% sure if it would work. If the wireless card supports ad-hoc, then yes.

Most are around 20 - 30 euros, which would be 15 - 20 pounds.
A router on the other hand is 40 - 50 pounds.

So you can choose. Higher chance more money or lower chance less money.

Either way, I suggest you give Nintendo a call first. Might be your DS too.
